I am a girly girl, who is everything pink and always ribbons, lace and roses. I was raised in the south and proud of it, but I am also very English, Irish, and Scottish, molded by my family's history, that continues to live through me. Louisiana is my home but I have a love for Tennessee that keeps calling me back there. I am the type of person that likes to make people happy, and all too often fall to people's lies because I am that way.

Nature calls to me and I join it freely, from gardening in my backyard, to walking in the woods to gathering blackberries in the summer, and wild lemons in the fall. The woods are a hide-a-way for my mind to rejuvenate itself, and my body to explore.

My life involves many of things that people have long forgotten, from making my bread from scratch, to the enjoyment of crafting something by hand; it's the simple things in life that I like.


I admit that I am a hopeless romantic, always waiting for my knight in shining armor to rescue me from all that has caused me to shed my tears through the years. Love I feel should be forever true, there should never be moment in your life that you have to question if you are really loved, if you have to ask then you know they don't. I feel you have one, and only one true love, which is your soul mate; you will know the moment you see them, there is a love that words can not describe, a bond that no one can break or destroy.

My soul mate is the man that never yells at me, accepts me as I am, my faults and all. He knows what his touch does to my soul, what his look does to my heart. The love of my life knows that he loves me, and tells me so.

This only provides just a small incite to who I am, and how I think, although it will still leave many still wondering even more.
